About the Event

At our school, we believe that Raksha Bandhan celebrations are important for several reasons. Firstly, they provide an opportunity for students to celebrate the bond of love and affection between siblings, and to appreciate the role that siblings play in their lives.

Secondly, Raksha Bandhan celebrations promote the values of love, respect, and kindness towards others. They encourage students to be kind and compassionate towards their siblings and to extend these values towards others in their daily lives.

Thirdly, Raksha Bandhan celebrations are an excellent way to promote cultural diversity and understanding. It brings together students from different cultural backgrounds to celebrate a shared tradition, and to learn more about each other's cultures and customs.

At our school, Raksha Bandhan celebrations are a joyful affair, featuring the tying of rakhi (a sacred thread) on the wrist of brothers by their sisters, cultural programs, and other activities. We encourage all our students to participate in these celebrations, regardless of their gender, and to embrace the spirit of love, respect, and kindness towards their siblings and fellow human beings.
